Start your guitar journey with a four week crash course in the basics! This fun and engaging four week course covers basic technique, chords and notation. Our guitar teacher Daniel Rayney has taught hundreds of students from beginner to advanced level. His friendly and supportive teaching style makes it easy to master the basics of electric and acoustic guitar, and will start you on the right track to playing the music you love. For ages 9 and up. Program tuition is $104, beginner no experience required.

Jennifer completed a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance degree at Sir Wilfred Laurier as well as a course in musical pedagogy, and has been teaching and performing for over 20 years. She teaches RCM and Suzuki Method and plays with the North Bay Symphony orchestra. Jennifer is comfortable teaching classical violin and Celtic fiddle styles. Her rate is $26 per ½ hour lesson.

Jordan began his cello training at Cambrian College under the guidance of former NBSO conductor Dr. Metro Kozak. He attended the University of Ottawa music program where he studied with National Arts Centre Orchestra principal cellist Amanda Forsyth and NACO cellist Margaret Munro-Tobolowska. He has done numerous performances in Ottawa both in and outside of the University in addition to teaching stringed instruments, including his first instrument, the guitar. He is the North Bay Symphony principal cellist. Jordan’s rate is $26 per ½ hour lesson.
